A regular meeting was held on November 22nd (Tuesday) at Shibasaki Kaikan, Tachikawa City.
First, there was a report on employment support activities for Nepalese people.
In addition to the four “welding industry” trainees that have been in place in Nagoya since June 2011, we visited a “training institution” in Misetani (along the Nanki Line) on 24th and 25th in order to make various preparations for accepting new trainees. I am scheduled to be seconded again on both days to serve as an interpreter. We also arranged the contract (procedures, fees, etc.) between Ibaraki Prefecture’s “agricultural training recipient” and town council member Mr. Wada and Nepal’s “human resources sending agency.” There was a newspaper report that Nepal’s ambassador to Japan (previous and new) visited Kashima Agricultural Cooperative to offer greetings and request cooperation.
Then, there was an explanation of how this year’s support funds will be awarded, and an exchange of opinions about the content to be posted on the website and the management of the association.
The current number of members of JNFC is 78, with just a few more members left to reach 100.
Would you like to support Nepal with us?
We look forward to your warm support.
