The second meeting was held.
First, there was a greeting from the chairman.
“It has been about a year since we started anew with the idea that even if only 3 or 4 people would come together and continue, we have received the precious kindness of 63 people, and we have been able to carry out this event with even more dynamic hearts. Through hard work, I was able to meet people in Nagoya and Ibaraki that I never expected to be able to surprise even myself, and the path for Nepali people to work in Japan is opening wide.It is an incredible experience. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the great invisible power and the sincerity of all our members, and I hope that I will be able to walk the path of further altruism filled with hope.I will do my best to further expand the circle of kindness. Let’s do our best. Thank you for your support.”
Then, there was a report on activities for the first half of 2011.
Through collaboration with overseas cooperation support organizations, trainees from Nepal are currently employed in the welding business in Nagoya (4 people) and, through connections that resulted from this, in food-related work (2 people).
In addition, through support for agricultural workers in Ibaraki Prefecture and through personal connections in the Hokota and Oarai districts,
employment possibilities are expanding.
We would like to continue to hold regular meetings every month and enhance the content of our activities.
We appreciate your cooperation.
